PWBA bringing bowling tournament to Clarksville, Indiana, in June

LMPD getting 8 new drones to use during active scenes
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mayor Craig Greenberg and the Louisville Metro Police Department have announced they are launching a new drone pilot program. The program will provide a long-range drone for every LMPD division office, training and technology services to be used in street racing violations, missing person cases, traffic collisions, SWAT situations, water rescues, and more, according to the city.

Louisville police search for suspects after man shot and killed in Newburg
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the city's Newburg neighborhood Thursday night. LMPD Spokesperson John Bradley said officers were called to a reported shooting in the 5000 block of East Indian Trail just before 9 p.m. That's off Newburg Road near Petersburg Park.
Woods makes two early triples en route to a 77 and will miss cut at PGA Championship
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Tiger Woods will miss the cut at the PGA Championship after making two triple-bogeys over the first four holes Friday on the way to 6-over-par 77. Woods finished the second round at Valhalla, the site of his 2000 title, at 7-over 149 and left the course tied for 136th place. The top 70 and ties will move to the weekend. When Woods walked off the 18th green, he was eight shots behind the projected cut line.
JCPS superintendent surprises 8 students with college scholarships
Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Marty Pollio surprised eight graduating seniors with college scholarships Friday morning, awarding nearly $70,000 combined. The scholarships come from the district’s Employee Sponsored Student Scholarship Fund, which Pollio started in 2019. Employees choose to donate a certain amount from their paychecks toward the fund.
