Letter to the Editor
I want to thank the entire staff of Spruce Point Assisted Living and Memory Care Center for the compassionate and competent care they recently provided for my father-in-law. We had to move him here from Florida at the age of 97 after the death of his wife of 65 years. Within days of moving him to Spruce Point he entered hospice care due to a multitude of medical conditions and dementia. The staff at Spruce Point were consistently caring and kind, adapting their care methods to meet the specific needs of my father-in-law. They always treated him with respect and never-ending patience. We are so grateful to have such a quality care facility in our small town.
