FLINT, MI - The Flint & Genesee Group will hold its 2023 annual meeting this week under the theme of “Meeting What’s Next.”
On Wednesday, March 22, from 3-4:30 p.m., the group will review and celebrate its accomplishments from last year and update progress achieved in the second year of a three-year strategic plan at the historic Capitol Theatre, located at 140 E. 2nd St. in in downtown Flint.
This year’s keynote speaker is Doneen McDowell, manufacturing executive director of the truck and components sector at General Motors.
She will speak on leading through change, creativity in the face of uncertainty, and collaborative approaches to progress, according to a Flint & Genesee Group news release.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $10 each at FlintandGenesee.org.
Registration is required for the event and ends at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21.
