(KNSI) – The FastLane94 Trailblazer Challenge is awarding up to $5,000 in team prizes for great business ideas.

The second annual competition is accepting submissions until April 3rd. Five finalists will be selected in the youth category, which covers high school students, and the adult category for ages 18 and up.

The challenge is organized by the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation, along with similar organizations in Fergus Falls, Fargo and Moorhead, and ILT Studios. GSDC Business Development Director Leslie Dingmann says, “People who enter this competition not only get a chance to showcase their ideas, they could receive resources that help make those ideas reality.”

Last year’s FastLane94 Trailblazer Challenge saw pitches submitted for advanced lawn mowing equipment, golf equipment, and cybersecurity solutions. ILT Studios Founder Nick Tietz says the diversity is proof that all concepts will be given a fair assessment by the judges.

“In other words, any great idea is eligible for consideration, no matter what the industry, and we encourage those new trailblazers to apply by April 3.”
