A 2012 Kia Optima was stolen from outside a home in the 2600 block of Alice Drive in Arnold. The car was recovered the next day in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, Arnold Police reported.

A 30-year-old Arnold man said he parked the car outside the Arnold home at about 4:30 p.m. March 3. He discovered it was missing at about 2:05 a.m. March 4, the report said.

A Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy found the car Kia abandoned on Orange Drive in the Fenton area at about 6:30 a.m. March 4. A rear window was shattered and the ignition had been damaged, according to the report.

An estimate to repair the car was not reported.

As of March 9, no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
