Video: See hail from storm that passed through Vero Beach on Saturday afternoon
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Pebble-sized hail fell Saturday afternoon in southern Vero Beach as a strong line of storms swept across the area. Hail was reported around 4 p.m. and lasted about 10 minutes. Strong wind, rain and thunderstorms followed the hail storm. The total amount of rainfall was not immediately available on Saturday afternoon.

International Music Festival in Vero Beach this July 2024
July 10-13, 2024, Vero Beach, FL- Announcing the 15th Annual Vero Beach International Music Festival, happening Wednesday, July 10th through Saturday, July 13th at the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach’s McAfee Hall (520 Royal Palm Boulevard). This one-of-a-kind festival will feature performances by world-class musicians and singers in Folk, Jazz, Celtic, Bluegrass, Classical, including multiple Grammy Award-Winners, as well as local and international participants in the Mike Block String Camp. Main Stage shows are ticketed at $25, and the Culminating Concert of Mike Block String Camp is FREE, with a Suggested Donation of $20, which goes directly to the camp Scholarship Fund.

Lightning suspected cause of 3 brush fires across Indian River County
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY − Lightning strikes were the suspected cause of three brush fires which all started as a line of storms moved across the Vero Beach area Wednesday. The three fires were started over a span of roughly 10 miles from south of the Winter Beach area, to another just west of Vero Beach Regional Airport and a third west of 58th Avenue north of the St. Lucie County line, a fire official said.
Riverside Theatre Announces Live in the Loop Thursdays
Starting Thursday, June 6th, Live in the Loop will present another evening of FREE music performed by local musicians. With the conclusion of a successful 2023-2024 season and the Stark Mainstage dark for most of the summer, Riverside Theatre wants to keep the energy and excitement that patrons bring on its campus by offering Live in the Loop performances on Thursdays. These added dates will feature an eclectic mix of musical performances in jazz, country, and blues by local musicians new to the Live in the Loop stage. Bands play from 5:30pm-8pm each Thursday evening (bands play until 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays).
