The 2023 Parade of Homes beginning this week will showcase four homes with four builders in the new Ashbury development in Felida.
The Parade of Homes gives people the chance to tour brand-new houses in the area.
“A lot of people love the experience of being able to just walk through a brand-new home, fully decorated with great landscaping, and, you know, some people do it because they’re remodeling or wanting to build,” said Jim Beriault, marketing manager for Parade of Homes.
One of the houses, from Quail Homes, will showcase a Craftsman design with a multi-generational floor design that includes a guest living and bedroom area of the home.
“The living areas of the home are nestled behind the three-car garage. A high ceiling is shared with the adjacent living room, which is large enough to entertain,” according to a description of the house on the Parade of Homes website.
Parade of Homes builder Marnella Homes will be showcasing a single level mid-century modern-styled home.
“The home has a water purification system, an interior grow center, full home air management system and enough solar to offset all of the home’s power needs,” according to the Parade of Homes website. “However, the real highlight of the beautiful home is that all the proceeds will be donated to the St Jude Research Hospital. Our local construction industry of vendors and trades along with national vendors have all come together for this giving mission.”
Parade of Homes builder Kingston Homes will be showcasing a contemporary aesthetic mid-century modern home. The home boasts multiple outdoor covered areas, a theater and more.
“Eye-catching textures and design details are abundant, from tile accent walls to wood slat paneling to Hemlock tongue and groove ceilings in almost every room,” the Parade of Homes website states.
Parade of Homes builder Cascade West Development will be showcasing a mountain modern custom home.
“Terra Vista is a shining example of how Cascade West can bring a client’s unique vision to reality, combining the essence of a mountain retreat with the convenience of a close-in location, with architecture, floorplan and finishes that offer equal parts elegance and accessibility, this home is truly something to admire,” according to the Parade of Homes website.
The 2023 Parade of Homes will feature five special days including the attendee favorite, Designer Day on Friday, Sept. 22.
“That’s a chance for people to come in and get a tour and get involved and listen to what the designers decided on each home, and so it’s a chance to get a little more in-depth information,” Beriault said. “So Designer Day is one that’s been very popular over the years.”
The 2023 Parade of Homes will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 8-24, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Tickets must be purchased online, and there is no on-site parking. Public parking is first come-first served.
