Arkansas and TCU postponed Saturday because of weather

There will be no replay of 2017, at least.

The originally scheduled game between and Arkansas and TCU in the Fayetteville Regional on Saturday was postponed about 7 p.m. in the evening to Sunday. Constant rains and lightning strikes forced organizers’ hands.

By that point of the night, the day’s first game – Arizona and Santa Clara – had yet to even begin. As it likely wouldn’t start until after 7:30 p.m. at the earliest, Arkansas and TCU, which was scheduled to played at 8 p.m., was pushed to another day.

The events brought back memories of Arkansas’ 2017 regional against Missouri State. Arkansas knocked off the Bears, 11-10, at 3:10 a.m. because of multiple weather delays throughout the day.

Later Saturday, the game time was announced as 2 p.m. Sunday. The lower will play shortly after against Santa Clara, which beat Arizona on Saturday nights.
