Postgame tweets: Fans react to Arkansas' season ending in Sweet 16

The magical NCAA Tournament run from the Arkansas Razorbacks has ended in the Sweet 16 after an 88-65 loss to the UConn Huskies.

Arkansas was clearly overmatched, as UConn never trailed at any point in this game and led by as much as 29 at one point. Adama Sanogo was predictably unstoppable, but he got a lot of help from his Husky teammates. Four UConn players scored in double figures, led by Jordan Hawkins’ 24 points.

The Razorbacks also got hammered in the rebounding department as UConn was able to out-rebound the Hogs 43-31 on the glass.

Despite the poor showing in their finale, it’s hard to be disappointed with Arkansas’ season overall. A potentially special season – derailed by injuries and drama – was salvaged by this team’s resiliency and fortitude to advance to a third straight Sweet 16.

A lot of Arkansas fans, and others, chimed in on the Razorbacks’ loss to UConn and the season overall. Here’s the best reactions from social media.
