Satisfy your sweet tooth at Jaguar Auction
The Valley Center High School culinary class with Chef Scott Storms and his students are making some scratch made cookies for Saturday’s Jaguar Auction. Cookies, and pies will be at the auction where they will be sold to highest bidder! The 25th annual Jag Auction will be 5-9 p.m. at the VCHS gym. There are hundreds of live and silent auction items to bid on. Tickets are $10 apiece until the door, when they will sell for $15.
New farmers market to be part of Western Days
A farmers market run by a 40 year resident of Valley Center will debut at this year’s Western Days festival: Bellani Floral & Events Farmers Markets. It’s a brand new farmers market, although it has made one appearance next to Fat Ivor’s Rib Rack. It’s not a certified farmers market yet, although it will be applying to become one soon.
