Fairport track star wins Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Winter

With over 17,000 votes, Ari Reback is the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Winter.

We honored all the season's Athlete of the Week winners by having them compete in one final poll to become the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Boys Sports Athlete of the Winter Season.

Voters chose Reback who cruised to an Athlete of the Week win Jan. 24. The Fairport senior won the 1,500-meter race during a Monroe County league meet in 4 minutes, 58.03 seconds. She also ran the anchor on her team's first-place 1,600 relay.

We will have the first Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week starting Monday, April 1. During the spring season, the polls will launch on Mondays at democratandchronicle.com.

Your vote determines who is honored as Section V's best.
