Best Virginia to Hold Pre-TBT Game in Fairmont

A little border war ahead of The Basketball Tournament? This should be fun.

This year, Best Virginia is doing something a little different. Instead of playing an exhibition game against a D-II school or aspiring TBT team, they will play College Park Boys (Maryland alumni) taking part in the Alumni Basketball League. 

The game will be held July 15th at Joe Retton Arena at Fairmont State University at 7 p.m. EST. Tickets are now available for purchase, starting at $25.

This will give Best Virginia the opportunity to play together ahead of making the trek up to Wheeling for The Basketball Tournament, which begins July 27th. The winner of the West Virginia Regional will advance to the quarterfinals against the Syracuse Regional Champion, scheduled for Sunday, July 30. All times and matchups are to be determined at a later date.

Currently committed to playing for Best Virginia are John Flowers, Kevin Jones, Nathan Adrian, Kedrian Johnson, and Teyvon Myers.
