A meeting was held last Thursday to understand potential yearly operational costs for the coming Custer Community Campus. The project is led by Tallgrass Landscape Architecture of Custer. Owners Matt Fridell and Tanya Olson gave the presentation and then led attendees through an exercise to better understand operational costs and how that will impact what kind of facility may be affordable on a year-over-year basis. It was noted this meeting is solely about yearly operational costs and would not cover the construction cost of the facility.

RAPID CITY — For the second time in four years, a Sioux Falls sweep of the state boys tennis team titles is a distinct possibility. Sioux Falls Lincoln has won nine-straight state tournaments, the final six under the one-class system and each of the three Class AA titles held when a two-class system was implemented in 2021. Sioux Falls Christian won the first state Class A title in 2021 and is the likely pre-tourney favorite again this spring over defending champion Rapid City Christian.
