A man walking with a woman from Georgia to South Carolina was arrested this week for what deputies said he did to the woman during a stop just across the state line.
Master Deputy Jimmy Watt, with the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, said Taylor Judson Hutcherson, 35, of Mill Spring, North Carolina, is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, indecent exposure, assault and battery and public disorderly conduct.
Watt said a deputy responded sometime Sunday evening to Lakeside Circle, near Interstate 85 in Fair Play, after reports of a disturbance.

He said the deputy made contact with the woman and Hutcherson, who has naked, walking around, yelling, being belligerent and under the influence of alcohol.
The woman told the deputy she had been walking with Hutcherson from Atlanta to Greenville when the pair stopped in Oconee County at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday to get some food and water at a convenience store on South Highway 11.
After purchasing their items, which included a bottle of wine, the two walked back towards I-85 and set up a camp in some woods next to a business close to the interstate.
During the course of their stay there, Hutcherson inappropriately touched the woman sexually, according to Watt.
The woman also told deputies Hutcherson picked up a stick and attempted to hit her before she ran to the nearby business and called 911, Watt said.
He said the woman was taken to the hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Hutcherson was issued tickets on the charges of public disorderly conduct and assault and battery, according to Watt.
Arrest warrants said Hutcherson exposed himself in a public place or property within full view of a heavily traveled highway and used force and/or coercion in sexual battery against the woman.
Hutcherson remains at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $36,345 surety bond, Watt said.
