EVERETT, Wash. — After a coordinated effort, a “nuisance” property was finally addressed in Everett on Tuesday.

Everett police, Code Enforcement, Dick’s Towing, and a private contractor worked together to clean up the property on Jackson Avenue in the Pinehurst neighborhood.

According to the Everett Police Department, nine people, 11 vehicles, and over 16 tons of trash and debris were removed after the EPD and Code Enforcement served a search warrant.

The EPD said the property had previously been condemned and the houses and trailer are now completely boarded up.

“Wonderful job by all involved in helping to enhance the livability of our community,” said the EPD.
