HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Several motorcyclists were on an honor ride when two motorcycles became involved in an Evansville accident on Thursday night.

According to officials with the Evansville Police Department (EPD), several motorcyclists were on an honor ride in memory of another motorcyclist who died in an accident. During the honor ride, one motorcycle ran into the back of the other, which caused the accident. A person was taken to the hospital. Officials say the person has non-life threatening injuries.

EPD says it happened around 7:30 at Vogel and Boeke, and both roads were closed after the crash. Police say it involved two motorcycles and one of them ended up on the front porch of a home and the other, down the street.

Reconstructionists were on the scene, using drones, spray paint and measuring tape, trying to determine what happened.
