HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — An Evansville man has been sentenced to eight years in prison in connection to a standoff late last year.
Steven Kinslow was arrested in September at a home in the 1300 block of Illinois Street after an alleged shooting and brief standoff with police. Police say there was a 23-month-old child inside the home with Kinslow at the time of the incident. The child was not harmed.
Most charges against Kinslow were dropped, but he was found guilty of “unlawful possession of a firearm by a violent felon.”
