A driver is dead following a one-vehicle collision the morning of May 27.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), the collision occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Addidas Street, near Horizon Street, eight miles east of Eutawville. The driver was operating a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Troopers say the driver was traveling east on Addidas Street when the Toyota Tacoma went off the road to the right, struck a ditch, and overturned. The driver died on the scene.
