Vote for The Register-Guard Athlete of the Week
The OSAA track and field state championships wrapped up last weekend and several Eugene area athletes took home titles.
This week's Register-Guard Athlete of the Week nominees are:
- Terek Logan, Sheldon track and field
- Sheldon boys relay team
- Addison Kleinke, Churchill track and field
- Breanna Raven, Thurston track and field

Terek Logan, Sheldon
The junior won the Class 6A boys high jump state title with a jump of 6-05. He finished tied for second in pole vault (14-06) and third in long jump (22-02.50).
Sheldon boys relay team
The Sheldon 4x100-meter relay team comprised of junior Owen Phillips and seniors Grafton Robinson, Zachery McEwen and anchor Brock Thomas won the Class 6A boys state title in 41.90.
Addison Kleinke, Churchill
The freshman broke the Class 5A girls pole vault state meet record with a jump of 13 feet, 4.5 inches.
Breanna Raven, Thurston
The senior won the Class 5A girls triple jump state title with a jump of 38-10.50 and was a part Thurston's 4x100 that won a state title in 49.06. She finished second in the 200 (25.35) and long jump (17-04).
