The Eugene Public Library is inviting people of all ages to take part in their Summer Reading Program.
The summer program helps keep students engaged outside of school as well as encourages everyone to embrace the love of reading.
From June 1 through the end of August, the library will host free events all around town including story times, story walks, creative activities, book groups, performances, and the annual Teddy Bear Picnic.
Library cards are not required to participate in Summer Reading, however to access full library services it's best to sign up for a card. Eugene Public Library cards are free for everyone who lives within City of Eugene limits, for all Eugene School District 4J and Bethel School District students regardless of address, and for all children through five years old who live within those school districts.
Visit the library to pick up an all-ages Book Bingo card, then play to enjoy new reading adventures all summer, square by square. Children and teens get to choose a free brand-new book to keep.
