Oregon baseball is heading to Tucson, Arizona coming off a big weekend at the plate against Northwestern State.
The Ducks scored a total of 46 runs through 4 games against the Demons. They hope to keep some of that offensive fire power going against a conference opponent in the Wildcats this weekend.
Head coach Mark Wasikowski said if the team continues to play with that same confidence, they'll have a chance in every game.
"We like to clearly make every game competitive at the worst. I mean you know we're not going to participate; we don't have those kinds of trophies around here; we're going to win. And we can't wait to get down there and play against a good Arizona team,” said Wasikowski.
“You know for us, it's just about basically sticking with what we do well. And when we've done that, we've been able to beat anybody. And when we haven't done that, we've been able to lose to pretty much anybody as well. So, it really is about us and what we do in our locker room. Kind of a cliché, but it's true."
First pitch between Oregon and Arizona is Friday, at 6 p.m.
