The Oregon Baseball Team had another impressive performance at the plate today in Pullman facing Washington State in the series finale.
On Saturday, the Ducks scored 14 runs against the Cougars, and Sunday's game wasn't much different.
Oregon was down early, but in the fourth Josiah Cromwick hit a homerun to cut Washington State's lead to two.
Slowly but surely, the Ducks kept chipping away. Top of the fifth, Tanner Smith hits a homerun and ties the school's record in hits.
Not just a day for the Ducks veterans, but also some newcomers. Carter Garate got his first career homerun in the seventh to put the nail in the coffin as Oregon took a 13-7 lead.
And the Ducks would hold that lead out until the end of the 9th.
Oregon will face Northwestern State in a four game series in Eugene starting on Friday.
