Estacada softball, Cody White earn heap of awards

Rangers fans had plenty to smile about this spring season, as a huge number of Estacada athletes were individually honored with Tri-Valley Conference all-league placements.

Softball, who followed its historic finish last year with another impressive showing at state, had seven athletes recognized. Senior Natalie Simmons and junior Libby Juker were named to the first-team for infield and outfield respectively. Senior Kayla Caceres, infield; junior Charlie Felix, first base; and junior Emerson Bailey, outfield, all earned spots on the second team. And for honorable mention were seniors Taira Bunyard, infield, and Lexi Kelley, pitcher.
