Baltimore County Police Spokesperson Joy Stewart said that Deep Creek Middle School and Sandalwood Elementary School would dismiss on time.
Stewart said that officers were called to the 900 block of Thompson Boulevard in Essex just before 11:15 this morning for what's being called a "weapons incident." A family member had called police, she said.
