Baltimore County police released an update that the two juveniles who were shot in Essex on Friday night were arrested and are now facing adult charges after the investigation revealed they shot each other.
On Friday, officers were sent to the scene of a reported shooting on the 900 block of South Marlyn Ave at around 8:10 on Friday evening. Two juveniles were taken to the hospital after being shot.
According to police, on Saturday members of the department arrested two juveniles in connection with this incident. Police say an argument happened before the shooting near Sandalwood Elementary School.
The juveniles arrested were both injured during the incident and have been charged as adults for attempted murder and use of a firearm in a felony crime of violence.
Police say based on the investigation, this was an isolated incident.
The juveniles are currently being held without bond.
