ESSEX, Md. — Police are investiagting a shooting that happened in Essex Friday that left two juveniles injured.
Around 8:10 p.m., officers were called to the 900 block of South Marlyn Avenue for a report of a shooting with injury.
The victims have been trasported to an local hospital. The health status of both juveniles are unknown as of right now.
During a preliminary investigation, police believe that the shooting stemmed from a verbal argument that escalated in front of Sandalwood Elementary School.
Two juveniles were arrested on Saturday in connection to the shooting, they were injured during the incident on Friday.
Both will be charged as adults for attempted murder and use of a firearm in a felony crime of violence.
Police believe this was an isolated incident.
The juveniles are currently being held without bond.
