    Vehicle slams into North County Starbucks, injuring four

    ESCONDIDIO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A driver slammed their vehicle into a Starbucks building in North County Saturday, the Escondido Police Department confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI.

    The incident occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. at 121 W Lincoln Ave. in the city of Escondido.

    Police said a total of four people inside the store were injured during the crash. Two elderly victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, while the others were treated by paramedics at the scene. The nature of their injuries is unknown at this time.

    Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, a woman of undisclosed age, was not injured.

    The reason for the crash remains under investigation by the police department’s Traffic Unit. No arrests have been made at this time.

    I thought Starbucks was a drive threw store. the driver has a good excuse for being a bad driver:)
