MENOMINEE — The M&M Hornets 7th and 8th-grade football teams split their games this week.
The 7th grade Hornets downed Escanaba 27-0 in two quarters, while the 8th grade squad stumbled against Esky 42-20.
In the 7th grade game, Kiefer Chouinard picked up a 44-yard scoring run and tossed a 41-yard touchdown to Destin McDaniel. Jett Thonne (39 yards) and Mason Koshen (seven yards) both had rushing touchdowns for the Hornets.
McDaniel snared a 24-yard touchdown pass from Brody Daigneau in the 8th grade game.
