BP money aims to bolster workforce rraining

Ownership uncertainty delays General Chappie James Jr. Memorial in Pensacola
PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The General Daniel "Chappie" James Jr. Memorial is still facing some delays. The project is still waiting on tourism tax dollars from Escambia County. The attorney general says they will not be ruling on whether or not the tourism tax money can be used for the project until it's determined who owns the memorial.

Escambia County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Pensacola man wanted for attempting to murder a man after robbing him of $60. Patrick Ferrell Jr. was wanted for principal to attempted second-degree murder, home invasion robbery and possession of a weapon by a Florida delinquent since Tuesday, but deputies found and arrested him Wednesday.
