ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- An Alabama man was arrested Monday for allegedly burglarizing multiple vehicles in an Escambia County neighborhood.
23-year-old Andrew Patterson Gregory, of Foley, is facing multiple charges including:
- 7 counts of Larceny
- 10 counts of Burglary
- Damage of Property
- Smuggling Contraband
- Drug Possession
According to an Escambia County Sheriff's Office arrest report, deputies responded to the Three Water Green neighborhood after a call came in about a man being passed out near the neighborhoods club house in a white Ford Fusion. The caller also reported that it looked like the car was possibly loaded up with stolen items.
When deputies arrived on scene, the report states they identified Gregory as the man in the white Ford.
During the investigation, as deputies were searching the area, the report says a man flagged down deputies and told them his Jeep had been burglarized.
The report says the man gave deputies a list of items that were taken from his vehicle, and deputies later located those items in Gregory's vehicle.
According to the report, "this incident was part of multiple vehicle burglaries in the Three Waters Green neighborhood."
Gregory was taken into custody and is in the Escambia County Jail on a $40,000.
