The Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority will not offer its water taxi service this summer, according to the Port Authority’s executive director, Martin Lamar.
Presque Isle rangers reminding park goers to stay safe this summer The water taxi previously shuttled visitors from the Bayfront to Presque Isle State Park. Lamar said they were unable to find an operator for the service.
The last time this service was available was back in 2019, it previously ran from June to October of each year.
