Sassafras Street Extension, the road connecting the Bayfront Parkway to West Front Street, will reopen Friday.
After more than 10 months of construction, the ramp leading up the west side bluff will reopen Friday, May 26.
The newly paved road for vehicles includes a pedestrian-friendly walkway.
These improvements are part of the Port Authority’s plan to make the Bayfront more accessible.
