Good that in spite of the heat, people came out to support. I wish I could have attended. Maybe next year the event can continue to expand with floats, a play/drama production of the freedom that came to be Juneteenth, vendor sales of Juneteenth apparel and a great opportunity for the youth to become more involved and educated in the city school system all about what Juneteenth is about.
