Two from Connecticut charged for dealing drugs in North Jersey

Hackensack, NJ – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella has revealed the arrests of Pascious A. Mink and Rikki C. Slappy, both residents of Enfield, CT. The arrests come as a result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, led by Chief Jason Love.

On June 1, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force conducted a traffic stop in Bergen County, NJ, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. During the stop, it was discovered that Pascious Mink and Rikki Slappy were in possession of two firearms, as well as quantities of cocaine, ecstasy, Xanax, and Oxycodone. Subsequently, Mink and Slappy were apprehended at the scene.

Mink is facing charges that include two counts of second-degree possession of a firearm during a CDS offense, two counts of second-degree possession of a firearm without a permit, third-degree possession of a defaced firearm, third-degree possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, third-degree possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, third-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine, third-degree possession with intent to distribute Xanax, and two counts of fourth-degree certain persons not to have weapons.

Slappy is similarly charged with two counts of second-degree possession of a firearm during a CDS offense, two counts of second-degree possession of a firearm without a permit, third-degree possession of a defaced firearm, third-degree possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, third-degree possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone, third-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and third-degree possession with intent to distribute Xanax.


Both Mink and Slappy have been remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending their first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court located in Hackensack.
