Enfield police investigating stabbing at Red Roof Inn

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating a stabbing Friday at the Red Roof Inn on Hazard Avenue in Enfield.

Enfiled police said a victim was being treated at a hospital after being stabbed in the leg around 2 p.m. Authorities have not provided an update on their condition.

Police said the suspect has been identified as Cassandra Jurovaty, 32, of Enfield.

According to police, the stabbing was captured on surveillance video and officers recovered the folding knife used in the assault.

Jurovaty has been charged with second-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon and breach of peace.

Jurovaty was held on a $50,000 bond.

The police investigation remains active and ongoing.
