Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibit Features Avon Students
Each year Governor Mike DeWine hosts the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. Students throughout Ohio can submit up to five works of art to the show, but only 350 works actually make it into the show. This year, 10 works of art from Avon High School students made it past Regional judging and six pieces were selected for the show. This is a record breaking total for Avon High School. Three of the accepted works were done by senior Isabella Keller. She also received the honor of “Best 25 in Show” for her piece called “Victory?”

Groves, 27, graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a double major in film studies and English.
