On Saturday, April 20, the Foothills Frogs travel basketball team, a team composed primarily of Elkin High School basketball players, traveled to Mount Airy to participate in the Carolina Stars Basketball Mayberry Nationals “Ring Series” Tournament. The Frogs went undefeated to claim the tournament championship, earning the players a plaque and championship rings. Winning streaks for Forbush teams
The Forbush Lady Falcons soccer team has racked up several recent wins. The Falcons claimed a 7-0 win Monday against West Wilkes. The team is currently 7-6-1 overall and 6-1 in conference. They are set to play North Surry on Tuesday. The Lady Falcons softball team has also been in the win column. The team defeated North Surry on Saturday 12-1. On Thursday the Lady Falcons beat Elkin 10-0. The Falcons baseball team continues its winning streak with a 15-0 victory over Wilkes Central on Friday and a 20-0 win against Wilkes Central last Tuesday. The team is set to play East Surry on Tuesday.
