An Elizabethtown has woman has been accused of endangering her toddler after the child fell from a second floor window.

The Elizabethtown Police Department arrested 29-year-old Allie L. White and charged her with second-degree criminal abuse and endangering the welfare of a minor. She is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $20,000 cash bond.

According to a report by WAVE.com, the arrest citation states that a neighbor witnessed the two-year-old fall from a second story window. White retrieved the child and took the toddler inside the home. No one, WAVE.com reports, called 911.

The toddler was later transported to Norton Children’s Hospital with unknown injuries.

White told police during an interrogation that she locks her two-year-old and one-year-old in a bedroom without supervision. She admitted to being aware that the window the child fell out of is broken, and that she previously witnessed the two-year-old open the window.

Police said the bedroom where the children were held “had excessive amounts of human feces on the walls, doors, and floor,” WAVE.com reports. The home also smelled of feces and urine, police said.
