TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Fall officially arrived Tuesday afternoon, but the weather is still feeling more like monsoon as moisture continues to stream in from the south. A chance of rain will remain over southeastern Arizona through Thursday evening with the best chance of rain occurring to the east of Tucson.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Fall officially begins Tuesday, but the arrival of the new season won't necessarily feel like it across Southern Arizona. Temperatures will remain warm Tuesday afternoon, with Tucson reaching around 93 degrees. Marana and Oro Valley are expected to reach 94 degrees, while Three Points and Valencia West could climb to 92-93 degrees. Green Valley will reach around 90 degrees.

More moisture brings shower chances this week

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — A little more moisture will move into the area Monday, bringing partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of a weak shower this afternoon and early this evening. Any shower that develops is expected to be light, but gusty winds up to 35 mph could accompany the downdraft. The dry air near the ground could help produce those stronger wind gusts even with a weak shower.
