Frequencies & Flow

A New Moon Gathering for Sound, Art, & Community

Sunday, November 8 | 5:30-7:30 | Our House Culture Center

Frequencies & Flow is a multi-sensory wellness experience weaving together sound, movement, art, and ceremony. We’ll gather in community to honor the colorful cycles of life above, below and within us with curiosity, playfulness, and intention.

Mama Earth has so much wisdom to share, with this gathering we'll ask: how might we witness, listen, and weave that wisdom into our own lives and community.

We'll explore this through an intuitive art making flow. Using natural loose cotton cloth as our canvas and rich plant dyes from My Dye Garden Studio, everyone will walk away with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind textile artpiece ready to hang and display.

This event takes place in Our House Culture Center, a sacred community space historic for once being the first black-owned photography gallery in the city and continuing to hold space for gatherings that cultivate and celebrate creative and cultural expression in our community.. We're honored to be there.

Here's what you can expect:

Gentle movement and stretching
A restorative sound bath
Intuitive art making flow (plant based-canvas and dyes provided)
Herbal tea offering and nourish light bites.
Space to commune with each other
