On evening of Tuesday November 21, Ogle County Deputies were dispatched to the 10,000 block of N. IL Rte. 2, in reference to hit and run injury accident. After arrival, Deputies learned a grey Dodge Charger driven by 56-year-old John Arberry of Byron was traveling southbound in the 10,000 block of N. IL Rte. 2. An unknown make white truck was traveling northbound at the same time when it entered the southbound lane and side swiped Arberry’s vehicle. The vehicle then left the scene northbound without stopping.
