Car crashes into east El Paso home, sending 1 person to hospital

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) —
One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a home in east El Paso Wednesday night.

The crash happened at 8:06 p.m. at a home on Banner Crest Drive near Edgemere Boulevard, according to an El Paso Fire Department spokesman.
The house was boarded up Wednesday and a gray-colored car sat in the driveway with damage to its rear.

The person had minor injuries, the spokesman said.
