An El Paso non-profit organization is partnering with a local tattoo shop to help raise money for rescue pets.
Muttlove Dog Rescue and Sun City Tattoo are holding their fifth annual "Tattoos for Rescues" event.
Participants can go to the tattoo shop, located at 11310 Montana Ave., and can get a dog-themed tattoo off the flash sheet for $75. The money raised will help Muttlove with vet bills for dogs and cats.
"Our biggest thing is, just remember like we are here to help those that can't help themselves that's what this is for, and tattoos are cool, why not?" said Pamela Brouhard, founder of Muttlove.
The walk-in event starts at Noon and will go until 6 p.m.
Artists are volunteering their time and resources for the event. Brouhard said tips are encouraged.
