El Paso undefeated boxer Stephanie Han is set to fight May 10 at the Live Casino in Philadelphia. Han is 7-0 as a lightweight and will fight Michaele Nogue in a scheduled six-round fight. Han is coming off a decision win against Wendellin Cruz last month, also in Pennsylvania. As a pro it was her first fight outside of El Paso or Las Cruces.

Leg Up Entertainment and Ringside Ticket are bringing boxing back to Southwest University Park on Friday, June 28 in Bouts at the Ballpark. Bouts at the Ballpark includes two main events featuring Fernando “El Feroz” Vargas Jr., vying forthe Super Welterweight WBC Fedcar Championship, and Nathan “El Morenito” Rodriguez,competing for the featherweight title. Montwood's William McLilly seeks state berth in Class 6A state track and field meet
William McLilly had a passion for competing on the basketball court, but along the way his passion changed and the high jump in track and field took over. Now the senior is one step away from a spot in the Class 6A state track and field meet. McLilly heads into this weekend's Region I-6A meet at Maverick Stadium in Arlington with plenty of momentum. He claimed the District 1-6A title, then followed that up with an area title and a 6-foot, 2-inch mark last Friday at Franklin High School.
