UPDATE: Power restored after massive outage in McLean, Tazewell Counties
(25News Now) - As of Wednesday morning, power has been restored to most of Central Illinois. At 9 a.m., PowerOutage.us shows a significant drop in the number of households without power. The outage map shows 87 households without power in Tazewell County, while McLean County has just 16 households without power.

Bloomington city manager expects quick council action on housing incentives
Jeff Jurgens, Bloomington's new city manager, expects to move expeditiously to address the Twin City housing shortage. BLOOMINGTON/NORMAL – Prairie Pride Coalition (PPC) and the Unitarian Universalist Church hosted the second annual Transgender Resource Fair on April 19. Around two dozen local businesses, queer organizations, and services collected in the church for what Terina Carter, director of religious exploration, hoped would be a “‘one stop shop’ to find out about transgender friendly resources and businesses,” completed with food provided by queer-owned local business Great Harvest Bakery.
