MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (TCD) -- Deputies arrested a 50-year-old man this week on suspicion of trying to kidnap two juveniles as they were on their way to school. According to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, on April 24, at approximately 9:20 a.m., deputies with the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Cactus Avenue and Perris Boulevard in reference to a possible attempted abduction. Two female juveniles reportedly said a person, later identified as Rene Ramirez, went up to them in a vehicle as they were walking to school.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported that on Saturday, March 30, authorities including the Webster County Sheriff's Office, Webster County Fire Department, EMS, and Georgia State Patrol responded to a residence in Preston concerning a car engulfed in flames.
