A hospital in Southwest Arizona is gaining national recognition for its robotic surgery program. Onvida Health, a non-profit hospital in Yuma, has been selected as a case observation site by Intuitive, which is a big name in robotic-assisted surgery. The designation means surgeons and care teams from across the country can travel to Yuma to observe procedures and learn how Onvida uses robotic-assisted technology in the operating room.

Yuma will welcome veterans health care center
Onvida Health expanding its commitment to the veteran community in Yuma community through a new partnership with the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. Ground was broken in January on the Yuma VA Outpatient Clinic, a 30,000-square-foot, free-standing facility that will be located at Onvida Health Foothills Medical Plaza, 11300 S. Frontage Road. The clinic is expected to open in summer 2027.
