Billings animal shelter receives $2 million donation for new facility
BILLINGS, Mont. - A family of animal welfare advocates has donated $2 million to the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in an effort to build a new shelter facility. The donation is a part of the "Paws and Rebuild" campaign, which has a goal of raising $12 million to build a shelter that will "offer ample space, natural light, and proper ventilation," according to a letter from Mary Waggoner, the representative of the donating family.
