Information sought on unresolved Marinette County homicide
MARINETTE — The Marinette County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on a 36-year-old unresolved homicide. The body of David Hunner, 32, Green Bay, was found Nov. 24, 1987 in the Town of Niagara, according to a press release from Sheriff Randy Miller. It was learned Hunner was a victim of a homicide, he said. “It is believed that Hunner was killed at his makeshift camp in the Marinette County forest,” Miller said in the release. Hunner was last seen alive on Nov. 14, 1987. Lawsuit against Menominee County officials dismissed
MENOMINEE — A federal lawsuit alleging workplace harassment and wrongful dismissal against Menominee County Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey Rogg, Menominee County Administrator Jason Carviou and Menominee County has been dismissed. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Former county employees Hannah Cole and Molly McRae filed the suit April 11. Both employees worked as administrative support staff for Rogg, who acted as their supervisor.
