Vehicle crashes into building in York
YORK, Maine — Officials responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a building Wednesday in York. The York Fire Department said on Facebook that the incident happened at 764 U.S. Route 1, which is the location of a building that appears to house several businesses including York Family Eyecare.
Aurora Borealis Illuminates the Exeter Night Sky
On the night of May 10, the Academy community enjoyed a rare appearance of the Aurora Borealis, more commonly known as the Northern Lights. Exonians could be seen across campus gazing at the colorful spectacle, which turned the night sky into a dim green and purple hue. The aurora, caused by high-energy particles from the sun interacting with the atmosphere, typically occurs only in northern parts of the earth.

PORTSMOUTH — The city School Board is moving forward with a plan to use one or two modular classrooms at Dondero Elementary School this fall to help address overcrowding. Although Mayor McEachern has stated that we should not conflate Portsmouth's budget with property revaluations, the two are connected.
